LLC’s and fictitious names?

Question by v.e.n.d.e.t.t.a: LLC’s and fictitious names?
ok lets say my company was named “Blah LLC” would i need to register a fictitious name if i wanted to do business as “Blah Studios”? and when i bill clients would i bill them as “Blah LLC” or “Blah Studios”

yes – generally called a DBA – Doing Business As

    my boss had to first register is name with the State when he got approved – he had to send requests to each state he was doing business in to get approval – to make sure no one else is using that name.

    I know someone living in PA using name X applied in NY was denied and has to use name Y because someone already had that business name
